Drug crimes are some of the most common crimes not just due to the prevalence of methamphetamine in the area, but because medicinal marijuana in South Dakota is slowly rolling out and because South Dakota still makes it a felony to possess Delta-9 tetrahydracannibinol.  Other controlled substances include cocaine, heroin, fentanyl.  You can be charged for maintaining or even just inhabiting a room where drugs are used, kept, or sold.  We represent people charged with possession as well as distribution and possession with intent to distribute.
