Activists pushing for Marsy’s Law in IA

An Iowa group pushing for victims’ rights.They want the state to adopt “Marsy’s Law” which is a constitutional amendment that would require the state to notify victims about an offender’s status, restitution, and enshrine a victim’s rights to be treated with fairness, dignity and respect.

“I think the message tonight is clear is that victim of crimes in Iowa deserve constitutional rights and I think we’ve got a great crowd here tonight that will help broaden and evangelize that message,” said Eric T. Baker, State Director for Marsy’s Law for Iowa.
